    Passing On Sad News

It was a very emotional goodbye to our lovely wee Pauline today. If it wasn't a funeral you'd be thinking you were at a Wets gig. Goodnight Girl - If I n Never See You Again and Little Help From My Friends were the play list with a special reading of Somewhere Somehow. Her love for Marti and the Wets was mentioned along with her Stirling Gig crazy trip. Also a special mention of her friends she had made through her love for the band. I left a card for John her husband from us all. Going miss that wee diamond cheeky face and infectious laugh God Bless Her .

    Passing On Sad News

It is with heavy heart and great sadness that I have been asked to post that our lovely Wets Mate Pauline (WonderWheels) McBride gained her angel wings on Thursday 5th July. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday 17th July at Glasgows Maryhill Crematorium at 3pm. I will be attending and willing to pass on any messages to her loving husband John along with a condolence card. We lost a special lady who no matter what life throw at her she always had that beautiful smile on her cheeky face. I will cherish my memories of my special times with Pauline at Marti/Wets concerts over the years. One in particular was the Stirling Castle concert when it took four fan friends all together to push her wheelchair up the wobbly road to the castle. Pauline being in a wheelchair was never able to be up close to the stage at gigs due to the disable areas being positioning. This was one gig when we were allowed to take Pauline close to the side of the stage. The joy on her face and her million times saying "This is the best gig ever for me" will remain in my memory forever. RIP my sweet dear friend.x x x
